The Digital Container Shipping Association (DCSA) has launched its first product, which it says will streamline business identity verification for the container shipping and logistics sectors.
The new Identity Exchange platform gives users a central gateway to verified company information, with the aim of reducing compliance risks, speeding up partner onboarding and improving data quality. It was built, in conjunction with DCSA’s founding carriers and industry partners, to support the association’s goals for improving digital infrastructure and supporting adoption of trade standards.
Niels Nuyens, Chief Product Officer at DCSA, said: ‘Identity Exchange reflects DCSA’s broader role in driving the industry’s digital transformation. We are proud to deliver DCSA’s first product.’
During early use, the platform showed a 95 per cent success rate in delivering verified data, according to the association.
