Since expanding into international moving in 2018, Philippines-based Melcon Worldwide Logistics has focused on developing its fleet, expertise and international network. Managing Director Dennis de Guzman tells us more about the business and why becoming a FIDI Affiliate is a major step in its journey.
New FIDI Affiliate Melcon Worldwide Logistics was founded in 2003 and has its headquarters in Taguig City, Metro Manila, the Philippines, with a branch in Cebu.
Managing Director Dennis de Guzman says the company began as a provider of containerised shipping and supply chain solutions, and, in 2018, expanded into international moving, storage management and distribution.
‘The move marked the start of a steady transformation and growth journey for our business,’ he says.
De Guzman adds that precision, expertise and collaboration are the foundation of Melcon’s success, as are a highly skilled traffic and operations team, which gives personalised service and flexibility, and in-house customs representatives.
‘With our own fleet of vehicles and tractor heads, Melcon maintains full operational control over schedules, routes and availability,’ says De Guzman. ‘We are committed to our performance, delivering an efficient service through timely deliveries and smooth relocations across borders. Secure handling ensures every shipment is managed with meticulous care, while operational flexibility is achieved through direct control of fleet and routes. With customs expertise provided by in-house representatives, clearance is faster and risks of penalties are minimised, too.’
With more than 80 years of combined industry expertise, Melcon’s senior management team brings breadth and depth of knowledge to the complexities of global moving. Their experience ensures proactive customs compliance through documentation and regulation management, specialised solutions tailored for sensitive shipments, and problem-solving that anticipates and addresses challenges before they arise. In addition, collaboration and trusted alliances form the backbone of Melcon’s strength.
The company passed its FIDI-FAIM audit in 2025, and expanded its worldwide network through LACMA and IAM. The business has been a preferred ITGBL partner and has supported US Embassy DPS moves since 2022. Through global collaboration, Melcon shares best practices to ensure consistent service.
‘Looking ahead, Melcon is committed to continuous growth, innovation and excellence,’ says De Guzman. ‘Guided by its pillars of performance, experience and partnership, we aim not only to meet industry benchmarks, but also to exceed them, delivering reliable, seamless solutions for every moving need.’
