This period also allowed us to correct some weaknesses in our operation that COVID-19 highlighted to us. The pandemic showed customers how life can change quickly and that time needs to be cherished. Since restrictions were lifted, I have noticed people are more eager to move, take action and travel. Ultimately, it helped us to improve and provide more with less. association, which is part of our strategy to become a reference point for services to and from Portugal. Invictus offers a wide range of services, from relocation, DSP to international moving, domestic, corporate and pet relocation. We have extensive coverage of Portuguese territory, including the islands of Madeira, Porto Santo and the Azores. Invictus values every customer and agent. Our goal is to amaze them, provide them with a different level of customer service, communication and attention, carried out with integrity, respect, transparency, and commitment. This is perhaps the biggest reason why the company is becoming more well-recognised worldwide. Since we were founded in 2013, I have aimed for Invictus Relocation Services to become a reference point for mobility services in Portugal and the world. Joining FIDI was one of the most important steps taken on this journey. FIDIs members are the elite moving agents of our industry and we want to surround ourselves with them, learn from them and become one of them. The FIDI FAIM process was incredible. It was very demanding, as it should be, and we took the time to do it right. It was very rewarding to improve, learn and apply all our knowledge. It is a valuable procedure that will help us improve and stand out from the competition. Exploring opportunities Where next? he Portuguese moving market is very attractive to foreign firms wanting to establish themselves in a new country. It has great connections to South America, too. Over the past 10 years, there has been a big increase in the quality of services being provided to and from Portugal and a year-on-year increase in volume. The country is becoming a popular destination, for reasons including safety, its health services, schools, good weather, food and welcoming multiculturalism. Meanwhile, the expectations about service of agents, private individuals and corporates are becoming more demanding. This is good for us, because were forced to look at how we can improve daily. Life moves fast We are exploring many opportunities, but we always aim to establish a solid foundation before going on to our next target. This year started well for us: we became part of FIDI, the biggest and most respected moving 76 We have accomplished so much in our nine years and theres still so much growth, exploration and establishing of new connections to do. We want to be the agent in Portugal that people can trust, and cooperate with and that provides an operational role model. Having an active role in FIDI is one of our goals, inspiring others, working together to improve the association, and collaborating on sustainability and the humanitarian causes in our world. There are many challenges ahead but each is an opportunity to do things differently, better, more wisely and we focus on these. We see that climate crisis, fuel crisis, and a shortage of containers may be among the biggest issues ahead. For that reason we are taking small precautionary steps to lessen those constraints and we encourage other agents to do this, too. It is our deep belief that being trustworthy, transparent, and doing business respectfully and with integrity are the key values that will propel us forward. We are adapting and adjusting every day.
