FIDI NEWS THE NEW FAIM SECURE ONLINE PLATFORM IS LIVE Andrew Mavin, FCC Customer Service and IT Coordinator, introduces the new FAIM Secure Online Platform After finishing the development and rollout in March 2019, the FAIM team was able to demonstrate the new FSOP at the FIDI Conference in Amsterdam. This is now your one-stop webpage for all your FAIM needs. S ANDREW MAVIN, FCC CUSTOMER SERVICE AND IT COORDINATOR ince late 2018 and up to the FIDI Conference in Amsterdam, weve had more than 50 Affiliates successfully log on to our new FAIM Secure Online Platform (FSOP), check their data and upload their pre-audit documentation to the FCC in a simple and secure way. From this group of first users we have already received our first encouraging comments: FSOP works fine and is a great tool, no problems occurred so far Great, its so easy Great, no issues, nice to have something that works Very simplistic and looks professional. The platform was easy to use Not any issue with the FSOP. I went back through my emails to check what the FSOP was, but I found it is very easy and self-explanatory The FSOP will now replace a number of separate platforms such as the Internal FAIM Audit platform, FAIM Dashboard and FAIM document downloading page creating a centralised portal, where an Affiliate can go to find everything in one place. O R G FF291JunJul19 pp18-19 FAIM Portal.indd 19 Once you access the page (no initial password needed) you simply select where you wish to go. Each icon will send you to your chosen platform. If you have your onsite audit coming up in the current year, then this icon will take you to the Onsite Audit Platform. This secure link requires you to log in with your unique FAIM PIN number. This number is sent to you together with the email requesting your pre-audit documentation. This platform allows you to upload all your pre-audit documentation safely, easily and securely. With no more emailing, the overall risk of security breaches is reduced while being fully aligned with the FCC privacy procedures. Do you need to download and upload your internal FAIM Audit documents? If so, you can click on the Internal FAIM Audit link, and type in your email address, which then checks you are entitled to enter the platform. Then you are directly logged in. This means that you dont need to go via FIDINET to do this. By now, of course, you have all downloaded the FAIM 3.2 documentation but, just in case you havent, there is an option here to click on the icon, which will take you to all the pre-audit documentation, FAQs, presentations and templates that are available on FIDINET. All the usual dashboards and resources in FIDINET can now be accessed directly from FSOP. You will need your FIDINET login and password details to log in here but, once you are in, you will have access to the Top Performers list, FAIM 3.2 Audit status, First Time Applicants status, as well as some other new graphs and reports on IFA and financial assessments. Once you click on the Help icon, it will open your default mail application, with the fcc@fidi.org email address already in the To: field. Send us your queries and we will respond in our usual prompt fashion. As you will all now be aware, the Financial Assessment (Pilot) must be carried out by all Affiliates during 2019. This is a very simple but secure way of logging onto this new platform. As an extra security measure, only CEOs are allowed to log on. Please do not hesitate to send any questions or comments you might have to us at fcc@fidi.org 19 10/05/2019 15:22
