L I G H T E R S I DE Isaac Edry (right) and his business partner Ami Joseph from Isaacs Moving and Storage Top of the world: Isaac and Ami reach the summit LIFETIME OF ACHIEVEMENT MARKED WITH TRIP TO MT KILIMANJARO I n 1988, Isaac Edry and his partner Ami Joseph set off on a journey that would see them build one of the finest moving and storage companies in the United States. Thirty years later, Isaac and Ami celebrated the 30th anniversary of Isaacs Moving and Storage by completing the challenge of climbing the tallest peak on the continent of Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro. The idea of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro came out of a discussion in 2008, when the business reached the 20- WHOSINIT MYSTERY SOLVED? Andrew Rosemeyer, CEO of Relocation Management Spain S.L. believes he has some answers. Isaac and Ami decided that when the company reached the age of 30, they would mark this achievement. They would do something that also celebrated their friendship, which began almost 35 years ago, when they served as officers in the military. On 18 January 2019, these two friends and business partners started the trek up the mountain. For seven long days and nights, while facing rain, sun, powerful winds, snow and temperatures that dropped below zero, they eventually reached the summit. When the climbers returned to the headquarters of Isaacs Moving and Storage, they were greeted by the entire staff. They celebrated with a cake and a signed photograph of them standing on top of Mount Kilimanjaro. Isaac and Ami took the opportunity to share with their employees the lesson that they learned along the way: that one can accomplish anything that you set your mind to. Whether it be building a company or climbing a mountain, one can accomplish incredible things with just desire and determination.
