PE O PLE M OVE S POPULOH TO LEAD WILLIS New director RELOCATION RISK GROUP at Move One Willis Towers Watson has announced the appointment of Boris Populoh to lead its Willis Relocation Risk Group (WRRG). Populoh will assume full management responsibility of WRRG, a role previously held by Bill Rose, who is to retire. Populoh, former Secretary General at FIDI Global Alliance, will be responsible for the further growth and development of WRRG, leading a team of relocation risk specialists based in Arlington, Virginia. Populoh joined Willis Towers Watson in 2011, as part of the WRRG leadership team, and has been instrumental in delivering consistent growth and profitability. Boris Populoh PERCY NAMED NEW MD AT DASA Simone (Reilly) Percy has recently taken up the position of Managing Director of DASA International Movers, a removals company of about 40 years standing in the UAE. Having been with the company for more than 15 years, albeit minus two stints abroad one as a British Airways Senior Customer Service In addition, Rechelle Castro will take on a more active leadership role within the team. Castro will expand the scope of her current responsibilities, working closely with Populoh on the execution of WRRGs strategic plans. Castro joined Willis Towers Watson in 2007, and has been an integral member of the WRRG team. Populoh and Castro will work closely together to reinforce Willis Towers Watsons position as a market leader in managing risk for the mobility, relocation and household goods transportation sector. WRRG is a specialty business unit that operates within Willis Towers Watson Global Marine, with a specific global focus on the mobility and relocation industry. WRRG offers insurance, risk management and claims products and services designed specifically for the relocation industry. As a FIDI Academy Trainer, Percy has an in-depth knowledge of the industry, and understands the multicultural environment that exists in the UAE. Urbanos appoints new CEO Jos Bourbon-Ribeiro is the new CEO of Urbanos Group. Appointed in January, BourbonRibeiro was Director at Groundforce Portugal, where he was responsible for business support areas such as purchasing, IT, communications, quality and certications. With a working life spanning Lisbon, Portugal, and So Paulo, Brazil, Bourbon-Ribeiro began his career as a journalist. In 2005, he worked for two of Latin Americas largest call centres in Brazil: the Portugal Telecom Group, rst as CIO WW W. F I D I. Jos Bourbon-Ribeiro Dawn Hasil has joined Move One Relocation as Director, Partner Relations Mobility Services. She will be responsible for developing and acquiring new strategic partnerships and managing strategic Dawn Hasil partnerships with existing key accounts. Hasil, who will be based in Chicago, Illinois, has 30 years of experience in the global mobility and household goods industry. Over the past 20+ years, she has held senior positions in Sirva Worldwide, Allied and North America International and Continuum Relocation. In her most recent position as VP Household Goods and Global Mobility at Hollander International Storage and Moving, she led a successful sales team and managed domestic and global operations with a professional staff of employees. INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS TEAM BOOST Finlands Victor Ek Moving Ltd has made two key appointments to its international business team. Charles Gray is the new Head of International Partner Charles Gray Relations. He brings with him a wealth of experience, having been in the industry since 1983. Grays main focus will be on further developing the international agent business. His connections and Satu Alaruikka experience combined with Victor Eks strong international presence will help to provide the best service for agents and clients regarding business to and from Finland. Satu Alaruikka has been appointed Senior Coordinator. She has an extensive background in the international moving industry, having worked for Sterling Relocation in London for several years before moving back to Finland in 2011 and joining Alfa Quality Moving.
